Role and Responsibilities

  • Model the Catholic faith through personal witness, prayer, and participation in the sacramental life of the Church.
  • Plan, implement, and oversee age-appropriate activities.
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Oversee daily check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Address behavioral issues and enforce discipline policies in line with school guidelines.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate after school care staff and volunteers.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s behavior and program updates.
  • Address parent concerns and resolve conflicts between students, staff, or families.
  • Respond to emergencies and unexpected situations calmly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with school administration to align goals and share facilities.
  • Oversee managing and purchasing of supplies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program and make improvements as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience with children, preferred

Additional Notes

  • Hours: M–F 2–6pm, and up to 5 additional hours for planning and purchasing supplies
  • Hourly Wage: $20
