The Catholic Family Services office provides resources and support to parishes and families to promote and celebrate happy and holy marriages and families. The office provides programs in the areas of marriage preparation, marriage enrichment and support, natural family planning, and serves as a resource for the bereaved, divorced and separated, and  those seeking post-abortion healing.

Sacred Heart on the Lake Retreat Center in Higganum will offer its New Day Seminar for the Bereaved this fall, providing support and guidance for those navigating the loss of a loved one.   The seminar will meet for nine Thursdays from September 24 through December 3, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with no sessions on November 12 or 26.   The program is designed to help participants work through the tasks of grieving in a supportive setting.
