Play Like A Champion Today Coach's Workshop

Play Like a Champion Today provides leadership in an effort to renew the culture of youth sport. The Coach’s Clinic of Play Like a Champion Today is centered around the principles of coaching as a ministry. The program is supported by research on character development & faith formation in sports. Play Like a Champion Today is designed to bring the best athlete-centered practices to your community. Coaches are required to attend the Play Like a Champion Today Workshop prior to volunteering at Catholic Schools. There are 2 upcoming Coach’s Clinics:

Saturday, August 26th 10:00 am - 12:30 pm in the Hall of Cathedral of St. Patrick, Norwich or Sunday, August 27that 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm in the Gym of St. John's School, Old Saybrook. To register please go to: https://forms.office.com/r/VK4d3K9c2Y

Teen & Young Adult Series on Discipleship Join us this summer for THREE evenings of faith, fellowship, and prayer. A prayerful remembrance of local fishermen lost to the sea, sadly including this past year, attracted a large crowd to Saint Mary Church and the town fishing dock on Sunday, July 26, in Stonington Borough. The gatherings were part of the 71st annual Blessing of the Fleet, and offered Bishop Richard Reidy of the Diocese of Norwich the opportunity to meet with captains and crews of the local fishery and confer blessings on them for a safe season, and a bountiful catch.
