The Legion of Mary is a world-wide Papally-approved organization of Catholic men and women who offer their services to their Pastor to aid him in performing spiritual works in the Parish. This is done by placing themselves under the banner of Mary so that with her help they may develop greater holiness in their lives as well as spread a deeper devotion to Mary among others; thus furthering the cause of Christ and His Blessed Mother.

Founded in 1921 by an Irishman, Frank Duff, the Legion has grown to over 3 million active members world-wide. Frank Duff’s conviction was that without exception we are all called to be saints and that through the Catholic Faith we have available all the means necessary to attain this.
