Bereavement Day of Prayer

The Diocesan Catholic Family Services Office is sponsoring a workshop for the bereaved entitled: Praying Your Goodbyes on Saturday, December 2 from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick Hall, 213 Broadway, Norwich, CT.

It will include time for private reflection, prayer, and journaling and give participants suggestions on how to navigate the upcoming holiday season and discover ways to grow through the experience of their loss.

There is no cost, but registration is required by November 27 by contacting Mary-Jo McLaughlin at Catholic Family Services, 860-848-2237, ext. 312 or by email at mmclaughlin@norwichdiocese.net.

The faithful of the Diocese of Norwich are invited to join Bishop Reidy on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, for a day of prayer, pilgrimage and fellowship at St. Anne Shrine in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. On August 16th, the Sunday after the Solemnity of the Assumption, parishioners of Saint Joseph Church in Rockville were invited to bring flowers, herbs, and fruits to be blessed after the 10 am Mass as they gathered together for the annual St. Joseph’s Parish Picnic.
