Dueling Pianists Return to Delight Guests at St. Vincent de Paul Middletown’s Annual Benefit Gala

Excitement is in the air as St. Vincent de Paul Middletown (SVDM) gears up for its highly anticipated 6th annual "Open Your Heart" benefit gala. This year's event promises to be an unforgettable evening of music, delectable cuisine, and charitable giving, all in support of SVDM's vital mission.

One of the highlights of the evening will be the return of The Flying Ivories, a dynamic dueling piano team hailing from New York City. Known for their electrifying performances and ability to engage audiences, The Flying Ivories will lead sing-alongs, take song requests, and keep guests entertained throughout the night. What's more, all tips collected during their performance will directly benefit SVDM's soup kitchen, food pantry, and housing programs, making every note played a meaningful contribution to the community.

The "Open Your Heart" gala is scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the exquisite Saint Clement Castle in Portland, CT.

Attendees can expect an evening filled with culinary delights from over 20 of the area's top restaurants and caterers, including Brewbakers, Café Luna, Cantina Café, The Pub at PGC, and many more. From appetizers to desserts, the gastronomic offerings are sure to tantalize every palate.

In addition to indulging in delicious fare, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy fine wines and craft beers from CT Beverage Mart, adding to the festive atmosphere. The event will also feature 20 high-end basket raffles, each valued between $300 and $1,000, offering attendees the chance to win exceptional prizes while supporting a worthy cause.

Tickets for "Open Your Heart" are priced at $99 and can be purchased in advance at OpenYourHeart2024.eventbrite.com

For those seeking more information about the event or interested in getting involved, please call Peter at 860-344-0097 (x116).

Join us for a night to remember as we come together to make a difference and open our hearts to those in need.
