Hope Lives Here Spring Walkathon & Music Festival is May 21

The Hope Lives Here Spring Walkathon & Music Festival will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. May 21 at Norwich Free Academy.

Students from NFA Project Outreach, in an effort to raise awareness about homelessness, will hold a fundraiser, walkathon and music festival at Norwich Free Academy's Slater Building.

Join them to see how many laps you can make while you collect stamps and earn tickets to enter for a free prize drawing. Bring a lawn chair to sit and enjoy live music.

There will be a kids table with activities for them to do. Proceeds from the evening will be donated to seven local agencies, including Saint Vincent de Paul Place, who work with homeless individuals. Suggested donations for the evening are $10 for adults and $5 for students. The event takes place rain or shine.
