Norwich Diocesan Cemeteries Spring Cleanup Reminder

As the seasons change, Norwich Diocesan Cemeteries will begin their annual Spring Cleanup to maintain the beauty and dignity of our sacred grounds.

Families are kindly asked to remove all winter decorations by March 15 from the following cemeteries:

St. Joseph, Norwich
St. Mary, Norwich
Sacred Heart, Norwich
Sacred Heart, Wauregan
All Hallows, Moosup
St. Patrick, Uncasville
St. Mary, New London
Resurrection, Westbrook

Cleanup of winter decorations will begin the week of March 17, 2025.

We recommend waiting until after the cleanup to place new Spring decorations to avoid unintentional removal.

The Diocese of Norwich is inviting the faithful to join Bishop Richard Reidy for a Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, May 13, the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. The daylong pilgrimage will offer participants an opportunity to grow closer to Our Lord and the Blessed Mother through prayer, worship, and reflection.
