The Diocese of Norwich is inviting the faithful to join Bishop Richard Reidy for a Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, May 13, the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. The daylong pilgrimage will offer participants an opportunity to grow closer to Our Lord and the Blessed Mother through prayer, worship, and reflection.
The pilgrimage includes Holy Mass, Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction, Confession, a Rosary for Life, the Divine Mercy Holy Hour and Chaplet, and veneration of the relics of St. Faustina. Pilgrims will also have time to visit the shrine’s gift store. Transportation will be provided by deluxe DATTCO motorcoach, and lunch is included. The cost for the day is $80 per person.
Departure Information
Bus departures will take place from Our Lady of Lourdes, 1650 Route 12, Gales Ferry, at 8:30 a.m., St. Patrick’s Cathedral, 211 Broadway, Norwich, at 9 a.m., and St. Andrew’s, 128 Norwich Ave., Colchester, at 9:20 a.m.
Pilgrimage Schedule
The group is scheduled to arrive at the Shrine of Divine Mercy at 11:15 a.m. The day’s program begins with a Divine Mercy Talk at 11:30 a.m., followed by Lunch at 12 p.m., Confessions and Rosary at 1 p.m., Mass at 2 p.m., and the Divine Mercy Holy Hour at 3 p.m. After time at the gift store, the group will depart at 4:15 p.m., stop at McDonald’s at 4:45 p.m., and return that evening.
