Saint Bernard School Students Celebrate Achievements

Students at Saint Bernard School in Uncasville recently celebrated several noteworthy achievements:

The Mock Trial team won both of its trials against Xavier and will be advancing to the next round of the competition.

Also, the SBS Debate Team earned first place in the preliminary round of the Dr. Grace Sawyer Jones Debate at Norwich Free Academy and will advance to the semi-finals in February.

And the Spanish Honor Society collected 140 pairs of children’s pajamas for United Community and Family Services to give out to local families in need.

Students Cheer Cyclists as Ride for Haiti Stops at Norwich Cathedral

Part of the 12th Annual Ride for Haiti (approx. 337 miles across CT & MA) On a mild September morning, the 2026 Ride for Haiti made a heartfelt stop at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick in Norwich, where a lively group of students from Saint Patrick School greeted riders Jim Hubert, Tom Campbell and Ron Paine. The welcome was warm — filled with smiles, applause, and prayers for the cyclists continuing their 337-mile journey across New England.
