'Unplug' at Lenten Mission in Cromwell

LENTEN MISSION

All are invited to join professional performer VaILimar Jansen for a two-night Lenten Mission with the theme Unplug. Both evenings will be focused on our call, role and mission as followers of Christ. Ms. Jansen uses song, dramatization and reflection to engage the audience.

ValLimar tours internationally as an inspirational speaker, author, storyteller, psalmist and singer throughout the United States, Europe, Israel and the Far East.

Presentations will be held at St. John Church, 5 St. John’s Court, Cromwell, on Sunday, March 8 and Monday, March 9, from 7:00-8:30pm. Refreshments will follow as well as the opportunity to speak directly with ValLimar.

Admission is FREE

The warm glow of candlelight washed over all gathered in the darkened Cathedral of Saint Patrick for the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday, April 19th. Homeschooling families with children of all ages are invited to the Cathedral for Mass with other homeschoolers from around the Diocese on Wednesday, May 21st at 9:30 AM. After Mass all are invited to bring your own lunch to the Field Pavilion at Mohegan Park for a time to connect with one another. Ice cream will be provided by the Diocese.
