Bishop Cote has invited parishioners to join us in prayer to our Lady for her maternal protection of our Diocese and her powerful intercession for an end to the current pandemic.

The ritual provided by the USCCB provides optional prayers to enable families to renew their consecration to the Blessed Mother as well. This can be performed at any time during the month of May.

On August 16th, the Sunday after the Solemnity of the Assumption, parishioners of Saint Joseph Church in Rockville were invited to bring flowers, herbs, and fruits to be blessed after the 10 am Mass as they gathered together for the annual St. Joseph’s Parish Picnic. The weather was beautiful, and it proved to be a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to relax, reconnect, and celebrate the spirit of the parish community!
