Blessing of the Animals is Coming to Saint Bernard Church

A Blessing of the Animals will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 4th, at St. Bernard Church in Rockville.

You are invited to bring your pets for this special blessing in honor of St. Francis of Assisi (whose feast day is October 4th), patron saint of animals.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the church was not able to schedule a blessing at St. Matthew Church. All are welcome to attend at St. Bernard Church.

Submit your pet photos here

Do you have a photo of your pet or pets being blessed? Submit it by e-mail to editorial@norwichdiocese.net and the photo will be featured in an upcoming online gallery.
