St. Vincent de Paul Middletown’s 8 Days of Impact Giving On-line Fundraiser

8 Days of Impact Giving
Online Fundraiser

Oct. 30-Nov.6

Due to the Covid-19, St. Vincent de Paul Middletown (SVDM) reluctantly cancelled two major fundraisers – their popular Soup Supper in October and Open-Your-Heart gala in February.  Demand for food and assistance has increased dramatically since the pandemic started, so the four-pronged agency—Soup Kitchen, Amazing Grace Food Pantry, Community Assistance and Supportive housing---has pivoted to raise much-need funds completely on-line.

8-Days of Impact Giving, starting on Friday, October 30 running daily through Saturday, November 6 on  www.svdmiddletown.org will include in-depth, “behind-the-scenes” videos of the mission, and special hosts including Mayor Ben Florsheim, and United Way President Kevin Wilhelm and other surprise guests.  SVDM’s website will also feature two separate, exciting auctions over the 8-Days of Impact Giving with great items for competitive bidding using a state-of-the-art app.  Financial donations made on-line during 8-Days will be eligible for a dollar-for-dollar matching grant up to $25,000. Visit www.svdmiddletown.org every day from October 30 to November 6 to be part of the action!

Running concurrently and closing on the last day of 8 Days of Impact Giving is the City’s Best Soup in Middletown Contest 2020. Mayor Ben Florsheim will present the trophy to the restaurant with the most votes at the close of the event.
