Local Businesses Show Support to Catholic Schools

Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, the Patron Saint of Catholic Schools, whose feast day is today, January 4, is the first American born saint to be canonized by the Church. She founded the first American religious community for women, the Sisters of Charity. She opened the first American parish school and established the first American Catholic orphanage. All this she did in the span of 46 years while raising her five children.

This is why Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton is the saint whose name we attach to the Annual Scholarship Dinner.

Due to the pandemic the 11th Annual Seton Scholarship Dinner has been postponed until November 7, 2021. However, the need for tuition assistance is greater than ever.

Toward that end, a virtual Support Our Catholic Schools ad book was created. Given the fact that 100% of the profit of the Seton Dinner is used each Spring to provide tuition assistance to our Catholic school students, we are thankful to the many friends who stepped up to continue their support of our schools.

This online book has helped to offset the loss of revenue from our canceled 2020 dinner.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2021 Dinner in the Fall.

Watch the 2026 Corpus Christi Mass and Eucharistic Procession
Hundreds of the faithful walked with the Lord in prayer, devotion and blessing as a witness to His love and Presence among us in the Eucharistic Procession on the Feast of Corpus Christi, Sunday, June 7, at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick.  The Feast of Corpus Christi celebrates the Real Presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
