Local Businesses Show Support to Catholic Schools

Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, the Patron Saint of Catholic Schools, whose feast day is today, January 4, is the first American born saint to be canonized by the Church. She founded the first American religious community for women, the Sisters of Charity. She opened the first American parish school and established the first American Catholic orphanage. All this she did in the span of 46 years while raising her five children.

This is why Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton is the saint whose name we attach to the Annual Scholarship Dinner.

Due to the pandemic the 11th Annual Seton Scholarship Dinner has been postponed until November 7, 2021. However, the need for tuition assistance is greater than ever.

Toward that end, a virtual Support Our Catholic Schools ad book was created. Given the fact that 100% of the profit of the Seton Dinner is used each Spring to provide tuition assistance to our Catholic school students, we are thankful to the many friends who stepped up to continue their support of our schools.

This online book has helped to offset the loss of revenue from our canceled 2020 dinner.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2021 Dinner in the Fall.

Father Nadolny's Media Ministry
A Parish Without Boundaries When is a picture truly worth a thousand words? According to Father Edmund Nadolny, it’s when the picture is on a highway.   Father Nadolny has been sponsoring bold highway billboards that mix spiritual encouragement with pro-life messages for over 43 years. These signs – funded through his “Good News Fund” – have dotted Connecticut’s roads, carrying religious slogans, calls to prayer, and pleas on behalf of the unborn.  Born in 1933 in New Britain, the priesthood was not on Father Edmun...
