Make a Memory Easter Basket Project! The Office of Faith Events needs your help!

The Office of Faith Events invites every family to make an Easter basket that will be delivered to a soup kitchen/shelter in the Norwich Diocese for children and families who would not otherwise receive an Easter Basket.

You can make a large family basket, small individual baskets or small individual buckets.  You fill up the basket or bucket with Easter treats (small toys, candy, etc.) and wrap it in a cellophane bag (available 2 for $1- at the Dollar Tree) and drop it off at a designated place in your parish or at the Bishop Flanagan Ministry Center, 199 Broadway, Norwich, CT.

It would be nice to include a homemade Easter card from your family to theirs if you are comfortable with that.

Some safety details…*make sure all candy is packaged- big or small- no loose candy please, *no candy with nuts or peanut butter for allergy reasons.

Please have all completed baskets delivered by March 23rd so we can get them to the soup kitchen/shelter and they will be given to the families/children before Easter.

Any questions or concerns contact Andrea at OFE , 860-848-2237, ext.203

At the close of the council, the faithful filled the streets, joyfully proclaiming, “Praised be the Theotokos!” Mary’s title as “Mother of God” is rooted in the Incarnation, where, as St. Paul teaches: “...
