Youth & Family Explosion
The Family and Youth Explosion will take place on Dec. 3 from 1-4 p.m. at Mercy High School in Middletown with speaker, song writer, and musician Jesse Manibusan. Jesse has that knack to build instant rapport, connect to his audience, and create life-giving memories that help deepen faith and cultivate the joy that inspires service, sacrifice and the celebration of life. He works with any and every age group, so everyone is invited to attend. Tickets will be $5 per Person, $25 for a family or $4 per person for a youth group. Join us from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 3 at St. Mary, Mother of the Redeemer, in Groton, for this Adult Education session led by Joseph Alchermes, (Assoc.Prof. of Art History of Conn College) focusing on early veneration of Sts. Peter & Paul in Rome, with an emphasis on the Vatican.

Pilgrimage to The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette
Join us from 1:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 10 at St. Mary, Mother of the Redeemer, in Groton, to pray to our Blessed Mother & her son Jesus this Advent & allow more than 400K lights to brighten our spirits and celebrate the One who is the "Living Light" of the world.

Couples’ Happy Hour –
The next two virtual Couples’ Happy Hour will be Friday, January 12, 2024, from 7-8 P.M. Make your couple relationship a priority by joining other couples for an evening that will include a presentation on a topic relevant to today’s couples. Bereavement Day of Prayer ~
The Diocesan Catholic Family Services Office is sponsoring a workshop for the bereaved entitled: Praying Your Goodbyes on Saturday, December 2 from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick Hall, 213 Broadway, Norwich, CT. It will include time for private reflection, prayer, and journaling and give participants suggestions on how to navigate the upcoming holiday season and discover ways to grow through the experience of their loss. Seven Sorrows of Mary ~
If you are seeking to find hope, strength and comfort from a loss, burden, or sorrow, join us for A Journey with Mary Through Her Seven Sorrows, a virtual seven-week program that will explore each of the seven sorrows of Mary’s life and the message of strength and encouragement each one contains. The program will meet online Monday nights from 7-8:15 P.M. January 8, 15, 22, 29 and February 5, 12, and 19. Each week will include a reflection on one of Mary’s sorrows, guided prayer imagery and discussion. The program is free, but registration is required.
