Virtual Basket Raffle
The Norwich Diocesan Women’s Conference Virtual Basket Raffle will be live beginning February 20 and culminate on Sunday, April 2 at midnight. Go online to https://go.rallyup.com/2023baskets  today to view 17 lovely baskets, chances are only $1 each.  Winners will be notified April 3. Questions? Brothers in Christ
Brothers in Christ: A Men’s Virtual Faith Group Meets monthly on the second Thursday of the month. Join this gathering of men who will share faith, personal experiences, and discussion. If you are interested in developing fellowship and discipleship with other men devoted to Christ, register by emailing Liza Roach at lroach@norwichdiocese.net or call 860-848-2237 ext. 305.

St. Mary of the Visitation, Clinton, 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM
Stations of the Cross will be held (in English & Spanish) every Friday at 6 PM in St. Mary Church, Clinton. Confession will also be offered in the church.

Lenten Mission on Eternal Rest

The Catholic Community of the Good Shepherd will give a special Lent Mission on Eternal Rest. Eternal Rest presents the Church’s teaching about death and God’s response to it with wisdom and truth, gentleness, and compassion, so that participants may think about and prepare for death in the light of Jesus Christ, the Author of life. This four-part study from https://watch.formed.org/eternal-rest have sessions held on Thursday evenings, 7 p.m. on March 2, 9, 16 and 23.  In person sessions will be held in the basement of the Church of the Holy Family.  A Zoom option will also be provided. Registration is free but please contact Mark Desrosiers at topgum@charter.net to register.  
 

March 19-20
Two-night Lenten Mission

All are invited to join professional performer VaILimar Jansen for a two-night Lenten Mission with the theme REBIRTH RECONNECT RECOMMIT.
Ms. Jansen uses song, dramatization and reflection to engage the audience in a spiritual experience. ValLimar tours the United States, Europe, Israel and the Far East as an inspirational speaker, author, storyteller and singer. The event will be held at St. John Church, 5 St. John’s Court, Cromwell, on Sunday, March 19 and Monday, March 20, from 7:00-8:30pm.  Refreshments will follow as well as the opportunity to speak directly with ValLimar. All are welcome.  Admission is FREE.

 

March 19
Healing Mass

Come join us for a Mass of Healing and Hope on the third Sunday of every month at 2 p.m. at Church of the Holy Family, 185 Church St, Hebron. The next Mass scheduled will be on March 19. Prodigal Son Retreat

Join us for a retreat on the Parable of the Prodigal Son, Saturday, March 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.at St. Mary Church, 45 Freestone Ave, Portland. Join us as we take a deeper look at this well-known parable from the perspective of each of the three main characters: the prodigal son, the elder brother, and the father. Penitential Gathering for Men

The Immaculate Conception Center in Putnam, CT is offering a penitential gathering for men willing to fast and pray for the needs of our families, our church, and our world on Friday, March 31-Sunday, April 2. The weekend provides retreatants an opportunity to encounter the Lord’s presence through fasting, penance, confession and Eucharistic adoration. An optional 14-mile “Stations of the Cross” pilgrimage is planned for those who are able. The weekend includes a two-night stay and one meal at the conclusion of the fast. There is no cost to participate. Space is limited, sign up now to secure your reservation for the weekend.
