Assisted Suicide Bill, Once Again, Dies in Judiciary Committee

S.B. No. 88 (RAISED) AN ACT CONCERNING AID IN DYING FOR TERMINALLY ILL PATIENTS 

Failed to Pass the Judiciary Committee and is dead for this legislative session.

Thank You - without the efforts of all those who sent in emails and called their Senators and Representatives this outcome would not have been possible.

Reverend John Stanley Gwudz, a retired priest of the Diocese of Norwich, died on Monday, January 26, 2026, in San Diego, California, following a lengthy illness. Funeral arrangements are pending in California, where he resided for many years, with burial to follow at the Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego.
