Job Summary

The social media volunteer Intern will help build the Catholic Charities brand across social media channels.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create engaging social media content.
  • Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for distribution (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube).
  • Track and prepare usage reports
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
  • Write press releases and other media communications to promote the work of Catholic Charities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in social media/marketing / digital communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, with excellent follow-up and reporting skills.
  • Mastery of social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snap Chat, and Google+).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software, and image /video editing software content management systems.
  • Well organized and detail-oriented
