'A Priest Forever' - The Ordination of Rev. Jacob Ramos

A celebration of the ordination to the priesthood of Reverend Jacob Ramos for service as a priest in the Diocese of Norwich took place June 25, 2022.

The Ritual Mass for the Conferral of Holy Orders took place at the Cathedral of St. Patrick in Norwich, with the Most Reverend Michael R. Cote, D.D., Bishop of Norwich, as the ordaining celebrant.

A gathering of invited congregants, fellow diocesan priests, and deacons were at the cathedral to witness the ordination, which was also was live-streamed.

Work Beginning on Towers at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick

The scaffolding that's recently gone up near the Cathedral of Saint Patrick's main entrance is the sign of a long awaited project that's taking shape. Work is being performed by the Joseph Gnazzo company of Connecticut to repair the two towers at the front of the cathedral's exterior, taking each tower down stone by stone and then re-building using the same stonework.
