Upcoming Forum: 'Building the Future with Migrants and Refugees'

“Building the Future with Migrants and Refugees” is Pope Francis’ theme for the 108th World Day of Migrants and Refugees on 25 September 2022.

Forced displacement of people is at its highest level since WWII: more than 65 million people displaced around the world and over 22 million refugees. Pope Francis reminds us that “the Kingdom of God is to be built with them [migrants] for without them it would not be the kingdom God wants.”

Join us for a forum to consider our future in the company of immigrants, refugees, welcomers, advocates, and questioners of all kinds. Saturday, September 24, 2022, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The forum will take place in the Johnson Room of the J. Eugene Smith Library at Eastern Connecticut State University, 83 Windham Street, Willimantic, CT. Registration is online at: https://www.hispanicministrynorwich.com/

or call (860) 456-3349. Registration deadline: September 20, 2022.

(Free will offering to cover the cost of lunch)

This event is sponsored by the Office for Hispanic Ministry and Campus Ministry at Eastern Connecticut State University.  For More information, please contact Sister Mary Jude at: aposthispano@gmail.com Tel: 860-456-3349.
