Have an Anniversary? Plans for Annual Mass Have Changed

Because of uncertainties surrounding Covid-19, the Annual Silver and Golden Wedding Anniversary Mass will not take place this year.

Bishop Cote will offer a private Mass for the intentions of all couples celebrating specific anniversaries this year. Each couple who registers will receive a signed certificate from the Bishop. The names of all registrants and their anniversary dates will also be listed on a special Anniversary Page on the Diocese of Norwich Website.

If you are celebrating a significant anniversary this year and would like to be recognized by Bishop Cote, please register by sending the following information: husband and wife’s name, address, telephone number, wedding date, anniversary being celebrated and parish to:

Work Beginning on Towers at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick

The scaffolding that's recently gone up near the Cathedral of Saint Patrick's main entrance is the sign of a long awaited project that's taking shape. Work is being performed by the Joseph Gnazzo company of Connecticut to repair the two towers at the front of the cathedral's exterior, taking each tower down stone by stone and then re-building using the same stonework.
