As previously announced in a letter signed by the bishops of Connecticut, the general dispensation from attendance at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation will be ended as of this weekend – the Solemnity of Pentecost.
While parishes can return to 100% capacity with no special social distancing requirements, pastors may consider designating a “social distance” section for those who are more vulnerable.
Given the reality that the pandemic has not completely subsided, some persons may be prevented from attending Mass for legitimate reasons, including:
