Responsibilities

Sacred Heart School is seeking a part-time Music Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The teacher will provide instruction in music theory and vocal music for students in Pre-K through Grade 8, following Archdiocesan curriculum standards.

The teacher will assess students’ strengths and areas for growth and develop lesson plans accordingly. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating a positive learning environment that encourages students to grow in their understanding and appreciation of basic music concepts.

Additional seasonal responsibilities include preparing students for a Christmas concert and a Spring concert.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Certification or working toward certification

Additional Notes

This is a part-time position for the 2026–2027 school year, beginning in August 2026.
