Role and Responsibilities

St. Joseph School is searching for an enthusiastic Grade 3 Teacher dedicated to creating an atmosphere that encourages a love of learning while following the Mission of Catholic Education and the Curriculum of the Norwich Diocese.

• An active Catholic, knowledgeable of his/her faith.
• Adept at determining students’ strengths and weaknesses and building lessons accordingly
• Will actively and creatively foster a love of learning.
• Excellent Classroom Management Skills
• Works well with faculty, staff as a team player.
• Possesses excellent communication skills.
• Creates a safe, productive classroom environment
• Utilizes technology as appropriate to the Grade 3 classroom.

 Bachelor’s Degree and Teaching Certification required.

Some experience and a Master’s degree preferred but not required.
