Funeral Arrangements for Fr. John F. Ashe

Reverend John F. Ashe, retired priest of the Diocese of Norwich died on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Waters Edge Center for Health and Rehab in Middletown. 

Visitation will be held beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Saint Mary Church, 45 Freestone Avenue, Portland, Connecticut, until 7:00 p.m. at which time a Parish Mass will be celebrated for his repose.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Mary Church, 45 Freestone Avenue, Portland, Connecticut, by the Most Reverend Michael R. Cote, Bishop of Norwich. Burial will be in Saint Bernard Cemetery, Route 74 Rockville, Connecticut.
