FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT

Posted on December 21, 2018 in: Reflections

The Fourth Sunday of Advent

Goal for the Week…  Welcome our Savior into the World!

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

This last week of advent is one that calls for a big change in all of us.  Christmas takes place at the beginning of the week so we shift from contemplation and preparation to complete celebration and JOY!

*How will you express your joy this week?

*How will this week be different from the previous three?

*What “gifts” are you personally offering to Jesus?

*How have you made your world a better place this advent?

The answers to these questions all involve a change of heart, a change in perspective, a change of focus and a change in behavior. Changes that we need to make to truly welcome our Savior into our hearts and our lives. That is the gift we should all be focused on giving this Christmas.

We pray that Christ will bless you and your loved ones in a special way this Christmas.

God’s blessings and peace…Andrea, Liza, Marianne and Mary-Jo
