Have you lost a marriage through these trying times of COVID-19 and isolation?   

There is a special heartache for those who are suffering from the loss of a spouse through death, divorce or a separation.  You are not alone.  All are welcome; women and men of all ages are encouraged to attend this one-day event: Coping with Life Alone…In the Beginning.   

We also understand the issues surrounding COVID-19, and between the procedures of the Retreat Center AND Beginning Experience of Connecticut, you can rest assured your health is of the upmost importance for all involved and precautions have been put in place.  Visit our website for further information.

Sacred Heart on the Lake Retreat Center in Higganum will offer its New Day Seminar for the Bereaved this fall, providing support and guidance for those navigating the loss of a loved one.   The seminar will meet for nine Thursdays from September 24 through December 3, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with no sessions on November 12 or 26.   The program is designed to help participants work through the tasks of grieving in a supportive setting.
