Alzheimer’s and dementia-related illness program
Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia-Related Illness & Aging: Healthy Brain and Healthy Body, Sponsored by the Caregiver Spirituality Ministry-Office of Faith Events. Please join us for a morning of information and sharing, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the following parishes on the respective dates.  Refreshments will be provided.  Keynote speaker will be The Alzheimer Association’s Eastern Region Director of Education and Outreach.  May 10, St. Sebastian Church, 155 Washington St, Middletown.  May 24, St. Mary Church, 218 Providence St, Putnam.  June 6, St. Mary of the Visitation Church, 54 Grove St, Clinton.  June  13, St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, Groton Long Point Rd, Groton.  Please call to register at (860) 848-2237, ext. 304 or email Marianne at manicholas@norwichdiocese.net

Pentecost Vigil Mass & Young Adult Social

Calling all young adults 18-39 years old - join Frassati New Haven and Crossroads 4 Christ as they gather for the annual Pentecost Vigil Mass and Young Adult Social on Saturday, May 27. Pray together for the coming of the Holy Spirit and meet new friends from across the state. The evening will take place at St. Joseph Church (129 Edwards St., New Haven) and will include a Holy Hour at 6:30 p.m., the Pentecost Vigil Mass at 7:30 p.m. and a young adult social to follow with bonfires and s’mores. Mass will be celebrated by The Most Rev. Archbishop Leonard P. Blair. All are welcome to join.

 

May 31 - June 14
Virtual Summer Mission

The Virtual Summer Mission will begin on Wednesday, May 31 and continues weekly through June 14 from 7–7:45 p.m. Our speaker is Lori Dalhoff, EdD. Lori has served in Catholic parish, school and diocesan ministries for more than 25 years. She is passionate about forming people as Christian disciples in the Catholic way of life. Lori currently serves as the Director of Lifelong Faith Formation for the Diocese of Portland, Maine. The topic for the mission is “The Spirituality of Saints in the Making” where Lori will draw each of us into our own call to holiness and becoming a saint.
