Take a Look at September Events Around the Diocese

Notre Dame Church Tag Sale

Saturday, September 4, at 272 Main St., Durham from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.,rain or shine 

OUTSIDE you will find furniture, records, tapes, cds, books, pictures and frames, baskets, stuffed animals, electronics, sporting equipment, religious items and a full range of miscellaneous tag sale items.  INSIDE our church hall we will have a huge assortment of clothing, toys, jewelry, china, a variety of linens, kitchen supplies, craft supplies, and more. A few minor changes:  We will not be having OUTSIDE vendors, MASKS are required, coffee and donuts will be available for sale in the Church Hall.  Thank you for your support.  We will be returning in the spring, see you then.

 

Legion of Mary Centennial Mass Sept. 18

The Legion of Mary of the Diocese of Norwich has scheduled a Centennial Mass of Celebration on September 18, 2021. Bishop Cote will celebrate the Mass, open to all in our diocese. We will share more information about the Legion, our founders and the Centennial Mass in the weeks to come.

Around the Diocese Submissions

Press releases announcing a diocesan, parish, or Catholic school-sponsored event must be received by Friday at 10:30 a.m. for publication in the following Thursday’s edition of the Email Newsletter. To ensure an announcement runs in a timely fashion, it is best to send your information at least 30 days prior to a scheduled event. 

Your information should be typed into the body of an email. Please do not submit flyers. Please compose a paragraph containing the essential information about your event — what, when, where, and whom to contact. 175 word maximum.
