Healing Weekend

The Beginning Experience Ministry is inviting men and women of all ages and faiths who grieve the end of a marriage or spousal relationship due to death, divorce, or separation to an in-person weekend program at the Mount Alvernia retreat center in Wappingers Falls, NY on April 10 to 12, 2026. Retrouvaille of CT

If your marriage has become distant, troubled, stressed, unloving or uncaring; even if you are divorced or separated but want to try again, the Retrouvaille program can help. Retrouvaille provides tools to communicate better, resolve conflicts fairly, and re-discover why you fell in love. We hold 3 weekends per year and the next Retrouvaille weekend is May 1 - May 3, 2026 in Windsor, CT. Annulment Workshop
If you are a divorced Catholic who would like to know more about annulments or is considering beginning the annulment process but aren’t quite sure what it is or how to go about doing so, consider attending this informational workshop Tuesday, April 21st from 7-8:30 P.M. at St. Mary’s Church, 45 Freestone Ave, Portland, CT.  Rev. Jeffrey Ellis, Vocations Director, who has worked with the Diocesan Marriage Tribunal will be there to answer questions and explain the numerous aspects of the annulment process. New Papal Envoy Named for the United States
Pope Leo XIV has appointed Archbishop Gabriele Giordano Caccia as the new Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, giving the Church in this country a new diplomatic representative at an important moment in its life. Work Beginning on Towers at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick
The scaffolding that's recently gone up near the Cathedral of Saint Patrick's main entrance is the sign of a long awaited project that's taking shape.
