Safe Environments Protects Our Young People

Keeping Kids Safe

April is the month to mark and acknowledge our work in child abuse prevention and awareness.
Here at Safe Environments we focus on this all year with our work teaching and screening adults
youth, and young people.  Our job is to not keep this information on a shelf or in a computer,
but to share it out to our families, adults, youth and children so that all have the important
information to keep each other safe in our fast changing world.

The Blue Pin Wheel is a symbol of child abuse prevention.  You can plant some pinwheels in your parish as a sign of your work in prevention and healing.  We again will have our planting of pinwheels in front of the Bishop Flannigan Ministry Center the first week in April. The Office of Faith Events will be having a rosary for healing and prevention of child abuse in the month of April.
