A Joyous Eucharistic Procession at Saint John Church

Very Reverend Grzegorz Leading the Eucharistic Procession

In celebration of the Feast of Corpus Christi, Very Reverend Grzegorz Brozonowicz, Pastor of Saint Pio Parish in Old Saybrook, led over 120 parishioners in a joyous Eucharistic Procession on the grounds of Saint John Church on Sunday, June 22nd after the 11am Mass.

Members of Knights of Columbus Father Hussion Council 2968 carried the canopy over the Monstrance in the procession while members of the choir led the parishioners in song. Three altars, adorned with candles and flowers, were arranged for Adoration.

Father Greg proclaimed the Gospel at each altar, and Father Michael Bovino, Parochial Vicar, offered the blessing. Deacon Thomas Rymut and Altar Servers Thomas DiBella and Thomas Collison, also led the procession. The Eucharistic Solemnity concluded with Benediction at the Altar inside Saint John Church.
