Role and Responsibilities

  • A practicing Catholic with a commitment to on-going faith formation for staff and students;
  • Embody the school’s Mission and Vision statement as well as the school’s motto of “faith, family,  and tradition;”
  • Possess the necessary academic qualifications;
  • Act as the school’s educational leader of the school responsible for the administration and supervision of its educational program and staff;
  • Promote a school climate that values the spiritual welfare and moral foundation of the students;
  • Have an effective working relationship with the pastor, staff, students, and parents.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • An  M.S. or M.A. degree in the educational field
  • A minimum of five years teaching experience
  • Preferred O-92  Connecticut certification

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication skills with all members of the St. Joseph School family
  •  Computer skills

Additional Notes

  • Three reference letters
