The Most Reverend Richard F. Reidy, Bishop of Norwich, has made the following clergy and diocesan appointments in the Diocese of Norwich

 

DIOCESAN APPOINTMENT


Rev. Msgr. Leszek T. Janik, JCL, Vicar General of the Diocese of Norwich, while continuing as Pastor of Sacred Heart Church, Norwichtown, and Saint Joseph Church, Norwich.

Effective: June 5, 2025.


Very Rev. Ted Tumicki, STL, JCL, Judicial Vicar for the Tribunal Office of the Diocese of Norwich.

Effective: June 5, 2025.

 

CLERGY APPOINTMENT


Reverend Francis Gilbert from Divine Mercy Parish-St. John, Montville, Our Lady of Lakes, Oakdale, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Quaker Hill, Parochial Vicar, to Saint Mary Parish, Clinton, Administrator.

Effective: July 1, 2025.


Reverend Daniel Long, from St. Mary, Clinton, Pastor, returning to the Archdiocese of Chicago, his home diocese as requested by his bishop.

Effective: July 1, 2025.


Reverend Brian Maxwell from Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Gales Ferry, Sacred Heart Church, Groton, and Saint Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, Groton, Parochial Vicar, to Divine Mercy Parish-St. John, Montville, Our Lady of the Lakes, Oakdale, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Quaker Hill, Parochial Vicar.

Effective: July 1, 2025.


Reverend James Sucholet, from Saint Joseph Church, Norwich, and Sacred Heart Church, Norwichtown, Parochial Vicar, to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Gales Ferry, Sacred Heart Church, Groton, and Saint Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, Groton, as Parochial Vicar.
