Office of Faith Events

The Office of Faith Events assists the Diocese and its parishes, to bring high-quality supportive services and events that enable Catholics of all ages, especially youth, to know, practice and share their faith in a meaningful and purposeful way. The office encompasses Catholic Family Services, Catholic Scouting, Catechesis, C.Y.O. Sports, Evangelization, Faith Formation, RCIA, and Youth and Young Adult Ministries.

Men's Virtual Faith Group - Brothers in Christ
Brothers in Christ is a Virtual Gathering of Men who will share faith, personal experiences, and discussion.  Every second Thursday of the month beginning on October 14th from 7pm – 7:45pm, Brothers of Christ will meet online.  If you are interested in developing fellowship and discipleship with other men devoted to Christ, then register by email Liza Roach at or call (860)848-2237 ex. 305.  All Are Welcome!

Fasting - Abstinence - Lenten Meals
Fasting & Abstinence Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting and abstinence for Catholics. In addition, Fridays during Lent are obligatory days of abstinence.
