Diocesan priest to be elevated to Archbishop in ceremony at Cathedral of Saint Patrick.

The Episcopal ordination of the Most Reverend Kevin S. Randall, Titular Archbishop of Glenndálocha and Apostolic Nuncio (Papal Ambassador) to Bangladesh will take place on November 4, at 10:30 in the Cathedral of Saint Patrick in Norwich.

It will be conferred by His Eminence the Most Reverend Cardinal Christophe Pierre, Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America.

The Co-consecrators will be the Most Reverend Timothy P. Broglio, J.C.D., Archbishop for the Military Services, U.S.A., President, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Most Reverend Lawrence E. Brandt, PH.D, J.C.D., Bishop Emeritus of Greensburg.

This appointment acknowledges Monsignor Randall's extensive experience and unwavering dedication to the Church's mission. His assignment in Bangladesh symbolizes the Church's dedication to global outreach and mutual understanding among diverse communities.

Born on May 6, 1966, in New London, Monsignor Randall was ordained as a priest, in the Cathedral of Saint Patrick, on July 25, 1992, by Bishop Daniel P. Reilly.

With a distinguished background in canon law, Monsignor Randall joined the diplomatic service of the Holy See in 2001. His tenure includes service in various apostolic nunciatures spanning Rwanda, Serbia, Slovenia, Peru, South Africa, Mexico, and Austria. His proficiency in French, Italian, Spanish, and German has significantly contributed to establishing meaningful connections in his diplomatic roles.
