Honoring Vision and Leadership in the Catholic Church

The Diocese of Norwich proudly announces the Our Lady, Queen of Hope Award, which celebrates the extraordinary contributions of women of faith within our diocesan community. Named after Mary, our Blessed Mother and role model in faith, this award recognizes women who exemplify vision, leadership, and hope in the Catholic Church.

Award Details:

The recipient will receive an award and a check for $200, made payable to the Catholic charity, parish, or diocesan ministry of her choice.

Nominee Criteria:

Nominees should embody the following qualities:

  • Strong faith and a life dedicated to Catholic principles.
  • A commitment to living out Catholic values in their daily life.
  • Demonstrated spiritual leadership at the local or diocesan level.
  • A spirit of love and service to the Church and its mission.
  • Participation in successful initiatives that have benefited the Church.
  • The ability to move the parish community forward with vision and dedication.

Nomination Process:

The Women’s Conference Committee will review all nominations and select the award winner. To nominate a deserving woman:

Complete the nomination form in full.

Submit the form by February 3, 2025.
