Rediscover the Gift of “Us”: Worldwide Marriage Encounter Experience Coming to West Hartford

This summer, couples are invited to step away from the distractions of everyday life and invest in their relationship by attending a Worldwide Marriage Encounter (WWME) Experience at the Holy Family Retreat Center in West Hartford, Connecticut, August 28–30.

More than simply a retreat, the Worldwide Marriage Encounter experience provides a welcoming space for couples to pause, reflect, and reconnect with one another. Through guided presentations, personal reflection, and private dialogue, husbands and wives are given the opportunity to deepen their communication and strengthen the bond that lies at the heart of their marriage.

While faith plays an important role throughout the weekend, the focus is on helping couples navigate the joys and challenges of married life together. Participants are encouraged to rediscover their shared hopes, dreams, and commitment while growing closer to each other and to God.

The experience consists of a series of presentations offered by three married couples and a Catholic priest. These presentations provide practical insights and encouragement while allowing couples the privacy and time needed to reflect on their own relationship.

Whether newly married or celebrating decades together, couples often leave the experience with a renewed appreciation for one another and a stronger foundation for the future.
