Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Norwich will honor longtime community leader Tony Sheridan during its 2026 Appreciation Dinner on Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. at La Luna Ristorante in New London. The evening will celebrate Sheridan's many years of dedicated service to the businesses, communities, and families of eastern Connecticut.
Hosted by Catholic Charities, the annual appreciation dinner serves as both a celebration of an individual whose leadership has strengthened the region and a fundraiser supporting the agency's mission of serving those most in need.
Proceeds from the event will help the organization continue its mission of "Providing Help and Creating Hope" for individuals and families throughout Middlesex, New London, Tolland, and Windham counties.
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and individuals wishing to support the event. Sponsorship levels range from Bronze ($1,000) to Diamond ($5,000) and include recognition during the event, reserved seating, acknowledgment in promotional materials, placement on the Catholic Charities website, and advertising opportunities in the event program.
