Responsibilities

• Model the Catholic faith through personal witness, prayer and participation in the sacramental life of the Church.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Teach Spanish speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
• Incorporate cultural lessons and activities related to Spanish-speaking countries and traditions.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies, including visual aids, music, games and storytelling.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
• Manage student behavior using school-wide discipline policies and individual behavior plans as needed.
• Design and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and language acquisition.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, bus duty and other non-instructional times.
• Participate in school events, assemblies and extracurricular activities.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested by school administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams preferred.

Hours: Flexible timing available for part-time applicants.

Salary: $12,000-$15,000 for part-time; $30,000 for full-time.
