Bishop Reidy Opens 40 Days for Life with Call to Prayer and Witness

On Tuesday evening, the eve of the 40 Days for Life Campaign, Bishop Richard F. Reidy offered a thoughtful homily at the Kickoff Vigil Mass, reminding the faithful that the right to life is the most fundamental of all human rights. Drawing on the vision of our nation’s founding fathers and the enduring truth that life is endowed by our Creator—not granted by government or circumstance—Bishop Reidy called on us to work, pray, and witness with courage and compassion for the unborn, for mothers in crisis, and for a culture that honors every human life.

Each day of the novena, we pray:   “St. Thérèse, the Little Flower, please pick for me a rose from the heavenly garden and send it to me as a message of love. Ask God to grant the favors I now place with confidence in your hands. St. Thérèse, help...
