The Diocese of Norwich joyfully welcomes Abby Whewell to its Evangelization & Discipleship Ministry, a growing initiative dedicated to helping individuals and families deepen their relationship with Christ and live out their faith more fully in daily life.

Abby joins the ministry with a heart for service and a passion for accompanying others on their faith journey. In a time when many are searching for meaning, connection and purpose, her presence brings both energy and a renewed commitment to the Church’s mission of evangelization.

The Evangelization & Discipleship Ministry, guided by its mission to be Rooted in Christ, United in Faith, and Committed to Serve, continues to expand its outreach across the diocese. Through parish support, formation opportunities and community engagement, the ministry seeks to foster vibrant, faith-filled communities centered on the Gospel.

Abby’s role will support these efforts, helping to strengthen connections between parishes, ministries and the faithful they serve. Her work will contribute to ongoing initiatives aimed at inspiring discipleship, encouraging participation in parish life and equipping individuals to share the joy of the Gospel with others.

As Abby begins this new chapter, the Diocese invites the faithful to keep her in prayer. May her service bear abundant fruit, and may her work help draw many closer to Christ.
