Memorial Day Cemetery Masses to Be Celebrated Across the Diocese of Norwich

Memorial Day Cemetery Masses

The Diocese of Norwich will celebrate Memorial Day Masses in diocesan cemeteries on Monday, May 25, 2026.

All are invited to attend and pray for those who gave their lives in service to our country.

Norwich Deanery

Saint Joseph Cemetery
Boswell Avenue, Norwich
Bishop Richard Reidy will celebrate Mass at 9:00 a.m. In case of inclement weather, Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick, 213 Broadway, Norwich.

Sacred Heart Cemetery
Harland Road, Taftville
Rev. Christopher Zmuda will celebrate Mass at 9:00 a.m. In case of inclement weather, Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Taftville.

Saint Patrick Cemetery
Depot Road, Montville
Rev. Robert Buongirno will celebrate Mass at 9:00 a.m. In case of inclement weather, Mass will be celebrated at Saint John Church, Uncasville.

New London Deanery

Saint Mary Cemetery
Jefferson Avenue, New London
Rev. Mark O’Donnell will celebrate Mass at 10:00 a.m. In case of inclement weather, Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mary Church, New London.

Old Saybrook Deanery

Resurrection Cemetery
Route 145, Westbrook
Reverend Michael Bovino will celebrate Mass at 9:00 a.m. In case of inclement weather, Mass will be celebrated at Saint Mark Church, Westbrook.

Parishioners are encouraged to attend one of these Memorial Day Masses.
