PUTNAM — Members of Cub Scout Pack 21 put their creativity and compassion on display during their regular pack meeting on June 3, 2026, by making handmade get-well cards for a sick friend.
Gathering at their chartered organization, the Albert J. Breault VFW Post 1523 in Putnam, the Cub Scouts spent part of the evening decorating colorful cards with crayons, construction paper, and heartfelt messages of encouragement.
The project reflected one of the core values emphasized within Cub Scouting: caring for others. Through service projects and acts of kindness, Pack 21's Scouts learn the importance of helping those in need and supporting members of their community. These lessons are guided by trained and experienced adult leaders who help foster character, citizenship, and compassion in the young Scouts.
Pack 21 welcomes boys and girls ages 5 through 10 who are interested in adventure, learning new skills, making friends, and serving others.
