Solemn Vespers - A Musical Prayer Through the Psalms

Solemn Vespers
November 22 at 7PM

We will be celebrating the Solemnity of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, King of the Universe in a special way. We will be praying using the Office of the Liturgy of Hours. This will be a musical Solemn Vespers.

Join us in the beauty of the Cathedral for a moment of musical prayer through the Psalms. There will be a moment of candlelight reflection. This event is for anyone that needs a moment of quiet in their overly busy life to encounter God in a special way, and the event is free. Parking is available on the street or in the Cathedral’s parking lot accessed by Otis in the rear of the building.

Join us in the beauty of the Cathedral in this ancient tradition of Vespers (Evening Prayer). We will be praying using Psalms and other Canticles. 

Due to the latest COVID Restrictions FREE Tickets are required in order to manage attendance numbers

Once you get to the page, click on the title of the event, then click the REGISTER button. Just like ordering any tickets online, you will be emailed a confirmation. Please print off your ticket and bring it with you to the event. You will be able to reserve in-person tickets until 5PM on Nov. 22.

The Diocese of Norwich mourns the passing of Sister Joan Marie Crapps, 77, who passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at St. Joseph Living Center, following complications from cancer, a disease she faced with courage and faith for seven years.
