Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Social Studies and Religion lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the spiritual and academic needs of all students, including those with learning differences.
• Integrate technology and hands-on learning where appropriate.
• Evaluate student progress through tests, quizzes, assignments and observation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and development.
• Create and maintain a safe, respectful and engaging learning environment.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures.
• Incorporate prayer and religious reflection into the daily classroom routine.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to support student learning.
• Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences and professional development sessions.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, bus duty and other non-instructional times.
• Participate in school events, assemblies and extracurricular activities.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested by school administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Elementary Teaching Certification preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams preferred.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

Salary: $32,000-$38,000, depending on experience.
