The Legion of Mary is a world-wide Apostolate of Religious and Lay Catholics whose Mission is both Formative and Evangelistic formed in 1921 by lay Catholics through the inspiration and prayers of Pope Pius X (cf Legio Mariae, Ch 10, #4). The Lay Faithful assist the Pastor of the Parish in fulfilling the spiritual works that he needs to do. By placing all of their works under Her, the members are helped by Our Blessed Mother to develop a greater Holiness in their lives as well as spreading a deeper Devotion to her Son and to Her among others.
The Norwich Diocesan Curia has scheduled a Centennial Mass of Celebration for this Event on September 18, 2021 to be celebrated by Bishop Cote. The Celebration is currently ‘under construction’ and when the plans are finalized we will send out information. If you are available on that date, we would love to have you participate with us.
